MetaTnP ("we", "us") operates the campus-to-career hiring platform at www.metatnp.com, connecting jobseekers, companies, and colleges in India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have. It is written with the (Indian) Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") in mind and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions (/terms).
Account data: name, email address, phone number, password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider), role (jobseeker / company / college), and login identifiers from Google or LinkedIn if you sign in with them.
Jobseeker profile data: education, skills, experience, expected/current compensation (optional), city, links (LinkedIn/GitHub), resume content you build or upload, and your college affiliation.
Assessment & test data: your answers, scores, per-skill results, AI interview transcript and evaluation, integrity signals (tab switches, window focus changes, paste attempts, time per question), and — with your consent — webcam snapshots captured at random moments during the written assessment round.
Organisation data: company/college names, contact details, GSTIN (for invoicing), jobs, drives, tests, and partnership records.
Billing data: plans, invoices, and payment records (we do not collect card details; payments are currently made by bank transfer/UPI).
Technical data: standard server logs and, in your browser, local preferences such as accessibility settings (text size, dark mode). We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
To operate the Platform: accounts, profiles, job applications, campus drives, tests, notifications, and support. To generate and evaluate assessments (including via AI) and present verified results to the companies you apply to and your linked college. To maintain exam integrity through the signals and snapshots described above. To bill and invoice organisations, and to comply with tax and legal obligations. To send transactional emails (invitations, confirmations, application updates, invoices, plan notices).
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
We rely on your consent, given at signup (Terms acceptance) and at specific moments in-product. Webcam snapshots are captured only during written assessment rounds, only after an explicit notice on the assessment start screen; starting the assessment is your consent. You may decline camera access — the assessment proceeds and the refusal is simply noted on your report. You may withdraw consent for future assessments at any time by declining camera access or not taking assessments.
Jobseekers: your profile, MetaTnP resume, assessment report (scores, integrity signals, snapshots), and screening answers are visible to (a) companies whose jobs you apply to, and (b) your verified college. They are not public and are not visible to other jobseekers or to companies you have not applied to.
Companies & colleges: your organisation profile is visible to platform users as needed (e.g., a job shows the company name; a drive shows the college and company). Billing data is visible only to your own account and MetaTnP administrators.
Recipients of candidate data are contractually bound (via our Terms) to use it only for recruitment/placement purposes.
We use reputable service providers to run the Platform, each processing data on our instructions: Supabase (database, authentication, storage — hosting our data), Vercel (application hosting and delivery), Google (Gemini API — assessment generation and evaluation; resume text you submit for optional AI enhancement), Zoho Mail (transactional email), Formspree (contact form and internal alerts), and Twilio (phone OTP, where used). Payment collection is currently offline (bank/UPI), so no card processor receives your data.
Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India; we choose providers with industry-standard security and contractual safeguards.
We keep your data while your account is active. Assessment results, integrity signals, and snapshots are retained with your account so reports remain meaningful to recruiters. Invoices and payment records are retained as required by tax law (typically 8 years in India) even after account deletion. Proctoring snapshots may be purged earlier at our discretion once no longer needed for integrity purposes.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger zone; this removes your profile, resume, applications, assessments (including snapshots), and related data, except records we must retain by law (e.g., issued invoices).
Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to access a summary of your personal data, correct inaccurate data (largely self-service via your Profile), request erasure, nominate a representative, and raise grievances. To exercise any of these, email support@metatnp.com — we respond within 30 days.
Data is protected with encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security in the database (each user can access only what their role permits), service-role isolation for sensitive material (e.g., assessment answer keys), and access controls on administrative functions. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session tokens) and browser local storage for your accessibility preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so no cookie consent banner is required for our current usage.
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly process data of children; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy as the Platform evolves; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. For privacy questions, requests, or grievances contact our Grievance Officer at support@metatnp.com (attn: Grievance Officer, MetaTnP). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
